CBG
What is CBG?
CBG, or Cannabigerol, is a non-psychoactive "minor" cannabinoid most often found in high-CBD and low-THC cannabis strains. Since hemp typically contains less than .3% THC by mass, it is the ideal source for CBG.
Like CBD and THC, CBG interacts with cannabinoid receptors found in the human body. THC is known for it's psychoactive properties, feeling high. CBG, however, acts as a buffer in your brain to the psychoactivity of THC by working to alleviate paranoia sometimes caused by higher levels of THC.
Studies have shown that CBG is excellent at fighting inflammation and relieving pain. Our topicals combine CBD with CBG and essential oils for powerful relief at specific pain points on the body. The human body absorbs and processes cannabinoids, like CBD and CBG, through the endocannabinoid system. The endocannabinoid system is made up of cannabinoid receptors found throughout the human body to help process these cannabinoids and experience the benefits they have to offer.
